Paper craft covers everything you make from cardstock: gift boxes, layered cards, paper flowers, seasonal decorations, treat holders and small 3D builds. What the templates have in common is that they are printed or cut flat, then folded and assembled into something with volume.

Know whether you are cutting by hand or by machine
Hand-cut templates give you outlines to follow with a craft knife or scissors. Machine-cut designs ship a vector file for a Cricut, Silhouette or similar cutter. Each listing states which it is, and what files you get.
Match cardstock to the build
A box needs a heavier stock than a card insert — roughly 200–300 gsm holds a fold without sagging, while 160 gsm scores and creases more cleanly. Very glossy stock can crack along a fold line.
Score before you fold
Skipping score lines is the single most common reason a paper build looks scuffed. Run a bone folder or an empty ballpoint along every fold line first; the difference is immediately visible on the finished edge.

+Can I resize the templates?
Yes, vector files scale without losing quality, and high-resolution raster files can be scaled within reason. Re-scaling a fold-up box changes how the tabs meet, so print a test sheet on scrap paper before using your good cardstock.

Matte cardstock in the 160–300 gsm range covers most projects. Get a small pack of two or three weights and see which one your printer feeds reliably — thick stock jams more often than most people expect.
